
On July 11th during the business trip to China the team of the Contemporary museum of calligraphy visited a unique entity- a brush manufacturing factory.
A training program started in 2015 to provide calligraphy courses for primary and secondary school teachers has so far trained 5,500 teachers.

Between 22 and 29 May, poet, calligrapher, painter, master of Chinese stamps and porcelain, and children's art teacher, Mr Hua Kui enjoyed a breif but fruitful artistic trip in Russia, organized in collaboration with the DHH law group and its head Mr. Luan Shaohu.
The exhibition housed in the State Museum of Literature, Art and Culture History, and named “Heart Out. Hand Out. Poems by Robert Rozhdestvensky. Calligraphy by Olga Alexeenko”, will open in Barnaul on June 21-22 as a part of Readings from Rozhdestvensky.

GhalamDAR – ‘the writer’ in Farsi – is an emerging artist, working primarily in graffiti since 2006. Born in 1994 in Tehran, Iran and in the beginning as a youngster, he wanted to add colour to his gray colored hometown and to break the habit and expectancy of watching the same walls he passes by every day by practicing and experiencing with a variety of graffiti styles.
The publishing corporation Renmin Huabao and China magazine became the two of the key partners supporting the successful Great Russian and Chinese Calligraphy exhibition held in the State Duma, as well as the forthcoming large-scale exhibition of the Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting scheduled for September 20-22 in Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre.
