Renowned Chinese writer and calligrapher takes part in Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting

A renowned Chinese writer and calligraphy artist Feng Ishu, and Director of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy Alexey Shaburov had a meeting on July 8, 2019, where Shaburov invited Mr. Feng to take part in the Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting exhibition, due on September 20-22, 2019. The event is designed to celebrate a landmark date – the 70th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties between the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China. Mr. Feng was happy to accept the invitation to this major project, and donated one of his calligraphy works to the exhibition, wishing this unique project, which aims to strengthen the cultural connections between our countries, to be a success. Feng Ishu, the author of “The Silk Road on the Tip of a Brush”, is a former officer of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, who spent many years living and working in Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
