The exhibition “Shining of the mountains and rivers, friendship for centuries” has opened its doors at China Cultural Center

On June 21st the exhibition “Shining of the mountains and rivers, friendship for centuries” opened its doors at the China Cultural Center in Moscow. Alexey Shaburov, Director of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy, was among the honorable guests.

Also taking part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition were:

• Mr. Li Hui, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Russian Federation,
• Lyubov Dukhanina, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee for Education and Science,
• Alexey Shaburov, Director of Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy,
• Mr. Ceng Xiang, the Senior Secretary of the Institute of Calligraphy and Printing, Chinese National Academy of Painting,
• Mr. Yang Tao, Vice-Chancellor of the Institute of Calligraphy of Chinese Academy of Arts,
• Mr. Fan Yang, Vice-President of the Institute of chinese Guohua painting of Chinese National Academy of Arts,
• Andrey Zolotov, Vice-president of the Russian Academy of Arts.

Alexey Shaburov, Director of the Contemporary museum of calligraphy and President of Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre, gave a welcoming speech to organizers and guests of the exhibition.

In his welcoming speech, Mr. Shaburov thanked the organizers – the China Cultural Center and its director Gung Jiajia- for the perfectly organized exhibition, expressing his admiration for the artistic and calligraphic works. He invited the exhibitors to collaborate on the organization of exhibition Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting exhibition, which will be held on the 20-22 of September 2019 at Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre.

Participants of the event received Mr. Shaburov’s proposal with great interest, all the more, since on the same day they had already visited the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy and Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre. Organizers and guests of the exhibition expressed confidence that the Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting exhibition will be a great success in September!
