The Confucius Institute at the Far East Federal University (FEFU) has summarized the results of a traditional calligraphy competition held among university and school students of the Primorsky Kray.
The awarding ceremony for the winners of the Faizhanov Prize in education, science and culture for the year of 2014 will take place on the 12th of December in Moscow, within the framework of the Х International Muslim Forum called ‘The Mission of Religion and Responsibility of Its Followers in the Face of Modern Challenges’
Isao Tanaka, a famous calligrapher from Tokyo held a master class on Japanese calligraphy for students of the Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Kuban State University on December 1st. Master Isao knows plenty of calligraphy styles: from ancient Chinese to modern-printed. He has been actively teaching since 1982.
