The International Exhibition Of Calligraphy And Fine Arts Unveiled In Vladivostok

The International Exhibition of Calligraphy and Fine Arts was opened at the Arseniev State Museum of Primorsky on Friday, October 17th. The exhibition of the Society for Indian Classical Arts (SICA) got under one roof quite a large number of people really admiring the art direction, which doesn’t seem that popular.

The project involved seventy one people, but only seventeen of them attended the event. Despite the fact that Japan and Korea are the main representatives of the exhibition, China, Australia, and the USA were also among the participants. The exhibition in Vladivostok also includes works of Russian calligraphers.

Via the works the artists aim to deliver peace and harmony for all people, regardless of their geographic location. Theme of the paintings brings peace and conciliation. It is not surprising that most of the paintings have nature depicted as a symbol of harmony, men once lost.

«The exhibition includes both paintings and calligraphy. I agree, a lot of this seems unclear. But I would like you to try seeing not only a beautiful character, but also a spiritual component. This is art,» the Consul General of Japan in Vladivostok says. When there is nothing left, it is all about culture. So the artists believe that due to the turbulent political situation in the world, cultural fellowship and cooperation are very important.

The exhibition will run until November 3rd.
