The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Russia Mr. Li Hui planted a small birch pole. The ceremony, which also featured representatives of the State Duma, was celebrating the 70th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties between the two countries.

As we wrote earlier, on July 24 the second stage of the expedition to the private museums of Russia has started. Within this stage the team of the Association of private museums of Russia will visit nine museums in Moscow and Yaroslavl areas.
On July 25th a solemn ceremony of tree planting by Li Hui, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Russian Federation, Commander of the Order of Friendship was held at the Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre.
After visiting the Falconry Museum, the expedition continued on its way north. The next point of visit was the most interesting Museum of carpentry tools from the town of Pushkino near Moscow.
On July 24 a new expedition has started the journey, which will visit nine unique and interesting museums in five days. The second stage of the expedition to the private museums of Russia includes visits to the museums of various theme, the founders of which are the real talents.
Organizers of the exhibition "Private museums of Russia. Treasures of Russia", which will be held in the Exhibition and Convention Centre "Sokolniki", have received a welcome letter from Alexander Sholokhov, president of the International Council of Museums of Russia (ICOM), First Vice-Chair of the State Duma Committee on Culture of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation with a message of project support and gratitude for work done on compilation of a single Catalogue of private museums of Russia.

In special gratitude to the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Russian Federation Mr Li Hui for the great contribution in development of bilateral relations and strengthening of cultural links between the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China, in honor of 70th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relationship the memorable tree planting will be conducted on the territory of Sokolniki Park.
Three days under the flag of China will be held in Moscow in the middle of September. Guests of the festival will attend the national fair, see the authentic show of dragons and the lights, as well as get acquainted with the history and modernity of the country with the ancient culture.
