His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has instructed the Department of Culture and Information in Sharjah to set up the Emirates Arab Calligraphy Society in Sharjah.

A Luhansk Oblast Student Develops Calligraphy Teaching Software
Dmitry Shevchenko, a 4-th year IT student from the town of Rovenki, Luhansk Oblast, has developed a programme that can instruct on calligraphic handwriting. Instead of the deft hand of the mentor, the programme is writing out the letters of its own accord while a virtual fairy-tale hedgehog helps you memorize all the elements. The Days of Manchuria hit Chita
