Tehran exhibit to highlight connections between Persian calligraphy and fine art

An exhibition spotlighting the connections between Persian calligraphy, sculpture and painting will open tomorrow at the Gallery of the Mellat Cinema Complex in Tehran.

Works by 29 celebrated Iranian sculptors and painters will be showcased at the exhibit entitled «Range of Meaning», the gallery announced in a press release on Wednesday.

Parviz Tanavoli, Seyyed Mohammad Ehsaii, Nasrollah Afjeii, Ali Shirazi, Sedaqat Jabbari and Iraj Zand are among those whose works will be put on display at the show.

The exhibit will run until July 19 at the gallery located on Vali-e Asr Ave., off Niayesh Highway.
