Spring calligraphy course
Dear friends, the National school of beautiful writing art continues the enrollment of students for the calligraphy course. We offer a wide range of calligraphy courses, a multilevel educational system, qualified teachers and one and two day term intensive courses for the beginners and advanced students.
Intensive course for children
On 1st of April at 12 a.m. children intensive course “Knowledge of calligraphy” will be held in the Contemporary Museum of calligraphy.
Islamic artifacts day in Ankara for diplomats
The Ankara Art Gallery and Auction House is now preparing to host ambassadors and diplomatic missions, after welcoming art lovers on Jan. 16 with an opening exhibition titled “On the Track of Our Civilization.”

“Pointed Pen” intensive course in the Contemporary Museum of calligraphy
On 27th and 28th of March a 2 day term “Pointed Pen” intensive course related to the pointed pen writing technique will be held. Under the guide the teacher Artem Lebedev, calligrapher and designer, the participants will get acquainted with the tool’s specific skills and the main style of writing it can perform – English italics, as well as with the calligraphic techniques of decoration of the writings.

Young calligraphers express their Holiday’s greetings
On the 3d of March, a Holiday lesson was held by the children group of the Calligraphy school in the Contemporary Museum of calligraphy. The schoolers guided by their teacher, Ekaterina Orfanova, created a Holiday calligraphic card and dedicated it to their moms, grandmothers and sisters.
Spring welcomed by light pen strokes in the Contemporary Museum of calligraphy
The “Encounter with calligraphy” course attainment certificates were delivered in the Contemporary Museum of calligraphy. Within 15 hours of the course, the listeners got acquainted with the art of calligraphy, origins of the main historical scripts and they got an initial overview of the tools and the skills of their operation.

On the 1st of March the master class “Art of beautiful writing for the future diplomats” took place in the MSIIR. The lecture was given by the teacher of the National school of beautiful writing art of the Contemporary Museum of calligraphy, A.V. On 27th of February, the sonatas of Viennese classics, V.A. Mozart and J. Gaydn, were performed in the Contemporary Museum of calligraphy. As Stendal puts it, the enchantment of Gaydn consists in the fact that the freedom and joy are dominating in his creation. His joy is spontaneous, natural, clear, invincible and constant. Gaydn and Mozart were the authors of a new instrumental music.
