An exhibition of calligraphy to commemorate the Great Patriotic War Victory Day opened with a ceremony on May 8 at 5.00 pm. The opening ceremony saw a performance of a children chamber choir of Vladimir Loktev’s singing and dancing ensemble, followed by an exhibition tour and a meeting with calligraphy artists.
As the Victory Day draws near, the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy in Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre held a unique activity engaging the Volunteers of the Victory youth social cause.
On 16th of May the final stage of “My manuscript book” open municipal conquest will take place in M.Gorkiy Volgograd regional library. The following book-art works will be represented in the framework of the conquest: author’s manuscript books, in many cases of unusual shapes with hand-made figures. At the end of April, the final lessons were held in the framework of the children course at the National school of beautiful writing art. During the final lesson the kids have presented their final works.
