Address to the Contemporary Museum Of Calligraphy

I thank the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy in the person of its Director Alexey Shaburov whose energy, persistence and originality created the unique exposition of the world’s calligraphy in the joyful artistic atmosphere which is necessary for calligraphy as an art expressing the artist’s interior and attitude to the world around.

And this atmosphere which combined extravagancy and improvisation, exchange of ideas and desire to enrich one’s experience and provided an opportunity to express oneself – the atmosphere which actually absorbed me on the day of the exhibition closing in Sokolniki park is the manifestation of the personal qualities of Mr. Shaburov and his wonderful team who made the dream come true. I thank you for this from the bottom of my heart.
