As the New Year holiday season is now over, the Museum of Calligraphy is in for the new business year. On January 9, 2018, the management has invited Anzhelika Mirzoeva, Director of MGIMO School of Business and International Competencies, to present the exhibit and unique items from the museum's collection, where the guest expressed her particular interest to the collection of Arabic calligraphy.
Official emblems have been unveiled for the Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, designed by artist Lin Cunzhen to reference Chinese calligraphy. Featuring bright gradients of colour, the two logos both incorporate Chinese characters with ribbon-like forms.

The first half-year is over, and the school of calligraphy has finished Basic, Pointed Pen, Lettering, Spencerian level 1 and Brushpen courses.
