Representatives of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy and Yuri Koverdyaev, calligraphy artist and member of the National Union of Calligraphers of Russia, have visited one of the oldest Russian universities, MGIMO, to discuss permanent cooperation.
The meeting and negotiations were held in a friendly environment and touched upon introduction of calligraphy classes for future diplomats in the form of extended education programme.
The university representatives extended their fixed interest and emphasized the importance of these classes as an enabler of balanced personality development and improved writing skills and literacy as one of many must-haves for prospective diplomats.
Calligraphy is a kind of music not for the ears, but for the eyes.
