The World Calligraphy Museum wishes Mr. Xie Angjun a happy birthday

Today, May 15, Xie Angjun, a talented calligrapher and friend of the World Calligraphy Museum, is celebrating his birthday. Director of the Association of Private Museums Alexey Shaburov, as well as the entire staff of the World Calligraphy Museum wish Mr. Xie a happy birthday, good health, creative success and prosperity! Mr. Xie Angjun was born in Henan, he is a member of the board of the All-China Calligrapher Association, a member of the Committee of the Henan Province Literature and Art Workers Association, vice-chairman and senior secretary of the Henan Province Calligraphers Association. Mr. Xie began his calligraphy classes at the age of five; his first calligraphy teacher was Zhang Shunjin.

The master’s works were presented in the Second Calligraphic Biennale “Arbor of Orchids”, at the National Exhibition of the best works of members of the All-China Association of Calligraphers, at a joint exhibition of works by Japanese and Chinese calligraphers. Xie Angjun’s works are kept in the collections of Chinese and foreign museums, he is a member of the jury of the All-China Calligraphy Competition, and has a teaching career.

The calligrapher’s works were also presented at the Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting exhibition in Moscow, which took place in September 2019. Soon we will have the opportunity to see his paintings at the Traditional Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Museum, which will open in the near future.
