The calligrapher’s artistic design is realized on the basis of the sign writing system, that reflects the ethnic and cultural-historical traditions of a nation. The new exposition “Mystery of Symbol” rests on artistic ground of aesthetic and informative diversity of the national schools of calligraphy.

Beside original artworks from 26 countries, the visitors will be able to enjoy calligraphic installations and performances, ancient manuscripts and rare letters, handwritten books and applied calligraphic art.

Calligraphers from different continents will show their skills at master classes, educating seminars and meetings.

It is a unique modular panel united by the motto “E PLURIBUS UNUM” (Out of many, one). It will be designed by the artists representing the UN member countries.
