Leonid Pronenko and his scholars' exhibition in the Krasnodar museum

The exhibition of Leonid Pronenko and his scholars' calligraphy opened in Krasnodar Museum named after F.A. Kovalenko on August 26. It marks the 100th anniversary of the famous Estonian master Villu Toots.

Leonid Pronenko is a Meritorious Painter of the Russian Federation, professor, Honoured Worker of the Higher Education of the Russian Federation, a member of The National Union of Calligraphers. He participated in various Russian and international calligraphy exhibitions, including the project “International Exhibition of Calligraphy”. Leonid is the author of the first Russian book about calligraphy “Calligraphy for everybody” and the professor of the calligraphy studio “Master” which was founded by popular request of those who wanted to be taught by the eminent calligrapher.

Leonid Pronenko was one of the scholars of Estonian master and Soviet calligraphy founder, Villu Toots, and now he devotes him this exhibition, where he presents his and his students' artworks.

In the age of technology and ready-made, the art of beautiful writing becomes more and more attractive, being considered as something really unique and exceptional. The exhibition is interesting for people of art (artists, designers) as well as for art amateurs.

The exhibition “«Master» Studio: Leonid Pronenko and his scholars” will last until September 11, and on September 8 Pronenko will hold a workshop, where anyone will be able to try their hand in the art of beautiful writing under the master's guidance.
