Happy birthday to the outstanding master Nja Mahdaoui!

Today, July 20, the outstanding master, calligrapher and artist from Tunisia Nja Mahdaoui, a participant of the International Exhibition of Calligraphy, is celebrating his birthday. He is a member of the jury and guest of honor at many international events, as well as a member of the international jury for the UNESCO Arts Awards. His creative work is exhibited all over the world and can be found in major collections such as the British Museum. Nja Mahdaoui is considered an iconic Arab artist of our time.

Nja Mahdaoui has worked on the magnificent interiors of the Jeddah and Riyadh International Airports and the headquarters of the Saudi Arabia National Oil Company in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Mr. Nja is the winner of an international competition for the exterior design of four aircraft for Gulf Air, the national airline of Bahrain, Oman and the United Arab Emirates, to mark the company's 50th anniversary.

The World Calligraphy Museum congratulates Mr. Nja Mahdaoui on his birthday and expresses gratitude for his enormous contribution to the world art and, in particular, the art of calligraphy.
