Biography

Master Li Zuo has been interested in calligraphy since his childhood. For a long time he has been taught by Liu Baogong who devoted all his life to calligraphy. In 1983 Li Zuo graduated from Beijing Pedagogical University, Department of the Russian Language. He has two gold medals and five silver ones for victories in Chinese calligraphy contests. Now Li Zuo lives in Belarus and teaches Chinese in Belarus State University. He keeps a Russian blog dedicated to calligraphy (COLD SWEET SCENT — lizou1.livejournal.com).
