Biography
Yomar is a Brazilian artist, who has lived in the Netherlands since 2004.
He has a Bachelor Degree in graphic design from Univercidade in Rio de Janeiro in 2000.
He also has a Master Degree in type design from Type & Media Postgraduate course at the Koninklijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten (The Royal Academy of Art) in the Hague, the Netherlands in 2005.
Yomar was involved in two Rojo ArtStorm projects. Rojo magazine, invited eighteen artists from all over the world to work as a team to build and develop a new campaign for a fashion brand. They worked together for one week in Berlin and Barcelona.
He is listed in the Contemporary Graphic Design rating, featuring the top 100 world's most progressive designers, published by TASCHEN, edited by Charlotte & Peter Fiell.
Yomar recently participated in the art show LETTER FOREST, featuring experiments in calligraphy, painting, drawing, and graphics, held at NANZUKA UNDERGROUND Gallery in Tokyo, Japan.
Currently Yomar is working on SIMPLEX project, the first part of the new art project will be exhibited in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
