Gennady Matsur

Calligrapher, prize winner of international book art contests
Biography
Gennady Matsur was born in 1960 in the town of Chashniki (Belarus). He graduated from the Belarus State Academy of Arts (1984) and from the Minsk Art School (1989). Gennady worked as the art director of Belarus Publishing House. He also gave lessons at the Belarus State Academy of Arts. At present, Gennady Matsur cooperates with a number of Belarusian and foreign publishers. He is the prize winner of the national and international book contests. He has participated in calligraphic exhibitions since 1994.
