CIPG assumes cooperation with Russian Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy

On January 18 Deputy Director of the China International Publishing Group (CIPG) Lu Cairong met with Alexey Shaburov, Director of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy in Moscow, in Beijing.

Mr. Cairong presented the activities of CIPG to the guests, noting that it is immediately associated with Chinese calligraphy, while Renmin Huabao, the publishing house managed by CIPG, held numerous large-scale calligraphy events, and has a significant weight in this area. He expressed a hope that in 2019, which celebrates the 70th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relationships between China and Russia, the parties will use the opportunity and enable the cooperation associated with calligraphy and painting.
