The 5th Anniversary International Exhibition of Calligraphy was held in Moscow from March 14th to April 12th, 2015. This year, the exhibition attracted a record number of 90 participants from 52 countries of the world, who presented as many as 201 calligraphy pieces at the exhibition, which were themed Reflections on the Motherland.
A retrospective exhibition of the Great Patriotic War veteran, honoured artist of the Russian Federation, honoured artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, folk artist of the Republic of Tatarstan and winner of the Ğabdulla Tuqay State Award Vladimir Popov opened at 4 p.m. on April 25th , 2015 at the Khazine National Art Gallery.

A master class on ceramic calligraphy by Sergey Shikhachevsky was successfully held on the premises of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy last Sunday, on March 1st, 2015. During the master class, the participants got to know about the history of ceramic calligraphy, learned about the difference between the Latin and Cyrillic fonts.
