On September 21 at 1:00 PM Zhao Xueli, calligrapher, the research associate in the Research Institute for Art History of China, Principal of the Academy of Calligraphy and Painting at the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Heilongjiang province, and the 1st grade national artist, held a workshop. His artworks were repeatedly displayed at Chinese and international exhibitions, or purchased by local and overseas art institutions and collectors. Xueli’s workshop demonstrated his own skill and also let some visitors to try their hand in writing with ink on rice paper.
Calligraphy is a kind of music not for the ears, but for the eyes.
