World Calligraphy Museum wishes Mr. Zhao Xueli a happy birthday

Today, May 1, a wonderful calligrapher and our friend Mr. Zhao Xueli is celebrating his birthday. Alexey Shaburov, Director of the World Calligraphy Museum, as well as the entire museum staff, congratulates Mr. Zhao on his birthday, wishes him good health, creative success and fulfillment of all wishes!

Zhao Xueli was born in Hegan City, Heilongjiang Province. He is known as a national artist of the first category, rector of the Calligraphy and Painting Academy of the Political Advisory Council of the People's Republic of China, Heilongjiang Province, a researcher at the Chinese Art Institute, a member of the All-China Calligraphers Association, deputy chairman of the Association of Double Lettering Artists, honorary director of the Contemporary Art Institute, a consultant to the Institute of Culture. The works of Mr. Zhao repeatedly participated in many national and foreign exhibitions, received awards. In 2012, Mr. Zhao Xueli was included in the list of 30 best calligraphers of our time, whose works have high scientific and artistic value.

Mr. Zhao’s works were presented at the exhibition “Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting”, which was held in Moscow from September 20 to September 22, 2019, and soon his works will decorate the exposition of the Traditional Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Museum, which will be opened in the near future.
