Calligraphy Utopia, a Singapore-based company, has launched a calligraphic business targeting Arab lettering lovers.
The timing of orders (fashioning a name in Arab calligraphy) ranges from seven to ten days. The Client can choose from two styles – Suls with its interwoven oval elements inscribed in a circle and more ancient Kufi with its angular, "square" geometry. The company says every work is executed manually by professional calligraphers, scanned by high resolution scanner, and e-mailed to the Client as JPG or TIF. Complete image size – 270X270 mm, res – 330 dpi. The image can be imprinted on t-shirts, mugs, set as desktop background, or simply hung on the wall as an article of design. The organizers of the business hope to attract not only Muslims, but all those whose passion is calligraphy. One digitalized name in Arab lettering will cost you $197.
For the largest part ill handwriting in the world is caused by hurry.
