Vietnamese Student Advertises Vietnam’s Tourism through Calligraphy

Vietnamese Miss Tourism — Ngoc Han, wrote 200 calligraphic works in three hours to present to visitors of the Australian National Youth Week. All calligraphic works have the new logo and slogan of Vietnam’s tourism «Timeless Charm.»

The new logo and slogan of the Vietnamese tourism sector was introduced in Australia for the first time by Ngoc Han, Miss Tourism of the Miss Vietnam Ethnics, who is also a student in Australia.

Ngoc Han wrote calligraphy in the King George Square in Brisbane. Her table had bamboo brushes, ink, statues featuring Vietnamese girls in Vietnamese traditional dresses.

«Calligraphic works are in Vietnamese and in English. Australian visitors liked them very much», Ngoc Han said.

The National Youth Week is the largest event of the year for young people in Australia, with a series of activities in many cities. This year, the event took place from April 13 to 22.

In March 2012, after fulfilling her term as an International Student Ambassador of Brisbane (2011-2012), Ngoc Han was appointed this title for another term (2012-2013).
