Togliatti citizens will learn Chinese calligraphy

A delegation from the University of Shaoxing in the People’s Republic of China headed by the principal Zhou Du Tsung will come with a working visit to the Togliatti State University on Thursday, June 4th, 2015. Matters of cultural and educational cooperation will be discussed, including the possibility of creating a school of Chinese calligraphy within Tolyatti’s University. The Chinese delegation initiated the visit. Among other members of the delegation there will be associate professors and vice deans from the School of Economics and Management and the School of Education Zheng Yuyao and Lu Zhungjiang, associate professor and vice-principal of the Japanese department of the School of Foreign Languages Liang Hong Mei and doctor, associate professor and head of the University’s International Committee Feng Yang. Togliatti State University will be represented by the principal Michael Krishtal, representatives of the Institute of Humanities and Pedagogy and the Institute of Finance, Economics and Management.

As a preliminary step, a Chinese calligraphy class financed by Shaoxing University might be opened at Togliatti State University.
