The State Duma will host an expo of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy

Lubov Dukhanina, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education and Science, and Alexey Shaburov, the Director of the Contemporary Museum  of Calligraphy, held talks today in the State Duma  of the Russian Federation. During the talks the parties touched upon some issues of education, culture and enlightenment activities in Russia, the role of calligraphy in the educational courses of a contemporary school. As a result， the talks set  the date of the expo entitled “ Masterpieces  of World Calligraphy”, which is to open on October 5th , 2018. The expo will present unique pieces of calligraphy as well as some new  projects of the Museum.
