Many festivities dedicated to Saints Cyril and Methodius Day were held in the cities and regions of Kemerovo Oblast.
The programme kicked off with the tolling of bells and later on the Kuzbas poets performed and an author and performer Roman Ickov sang some of his ballads.
Writing In Remote Ages, a master-class in calligraphy was held as part of the programme. Besides these, visitors were offered to try some ancient outdoor games the Slavs used to play.
Izhmorskiy Regional Studies Museum presented The Miracle Of The Russian Icon exhibition at the central square of Izhmorskiy settlement in honour of the feast day.
Visitors could observe icons, as well as manuscripts and samples of first printed books. A part of the exhibition was devoted to Saints Cyril and Methodius, and their iconography in Eastern Christian Art.
