On August 16, 2018 during their business trip to China, the representatives of the contemporary Museum of Calligraphy met with Mr Yuan Yingke, a calligrapher from Beijing. At the meeting, Mr Yuan presented to the Museum a gift of art, one that he created himself. Mr Yuan thanked Alexey Shaburov heartily for the invitation to take part in the exhibition The Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting: One Belt – One Road. The Exhibition is designed to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the USSR.
Calligraphy is a kind of music not for the ears, but for the eyes.
