On the initiative of the Association of Private Museums of Russia, the Department of Culture of the Yaroslavl Region awarded Yuri Ivanovich Arutsev, an outstanding calligrapher, public figure, founder of the Yaroslavl Historical and Genealogical Society, and founder of the author's school “Russian Calligraphy and Ligature” and the Museum of Russian National Writing.
The activities of Yuri Arutsev are an example of enthusiasm, dedication and loyal service to the homeland. Yuri Arutsev is a laureate of the regional prize “For the Teacher’s Moral Feat”, 2011, and received other multiple awards.
The merits of Yuri Ivanovich were noted by the All-Russian public organization “Chernobyl Union of Russia” as he was awarded a commemorative sign “In Memory of the Elimination of the Consequences of the Disaster at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. 20 years” in 2006 for his dedication to medical duty.
The All-Russian Genealogical Federation has awarded Yuri Arutsev with the following awards: Medal “For Humanism and Service to Russia. 100th Anniversary of the Birth of M.A. Sholokhov”, 2007; Medal “For Contribution to Genealogy and Other Historical Disciplines”, 2nd and 1st Degree, 2009 and 2010; Medal of the Order of St. Anne, 2011; Cross “For the Memorialization of the Patriotic War of 1812”, 2013; Medal “400 years of the House of Romanovs” (2014); Imperial Order of St. Stanislaus, 3rd Degree, 2014.
Yuri Ivanovich was awarded with a Certificate of Merit by the Department of Culture of the Yaroslavl Region for many years of diligent work, high professionalism, personal contribution to the development of the fine arts, and preservation of the historical and cultural heritage of the Yaroslavl Region.
Yuri Ivanovich Arutsev has been cooperating with the Association of Private Museums of Russia since its foundation in 2018.
