Last Thursday, September 29, Museum’s guide Irina Kornilova held a special museum tour for senior citizens under the care of the Yaroslavsky Social Service Centre. Among them there were pensioners, disabled people, labour and war veterans. For the visitors it was a chance to recollect what they knew about calligraphy, learn about the history of this ancient art and about its place in the modern society, all while looking at the best examples of calligraphy works from all over the world.
The Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy regularly holds such charity tours and workshops, pursuing its aim of creating a beautiful healthy society.
