A joint project of the Fabrika Centre For Creative Industries and Jharoaka gallery, Pakistan, will exhibit the works by contemporary Pakistani calligraphy artists in the Piranesi LAB space.
Calligraphy is the ancient technique of fine writing, which made its way to art from religious texts of the Quran, and spread into the architectural decor later on. This graphic-based branch of art is the most indicative for the Muslim culture.
Through this exhibition of the works created by the contemporary Pakistani artists, the visitors will discover subtle art of the East, trace its development history and appraise its significance in the present reality.
The exhibition will open at 19:00 on November 28 and will run until December 1, 2016 in Perevedenovskiy per. 18, Moscow.
