Sokolniki MEC at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum

On June 6-8, 2008, St Petersburg hosted the 12^th Petersburg International Economic Forum. This key event in the economic life of Russia was attended by the state leaders, and international intellectual, political and economic elite.

V. Pilchin and A. Kvasnikov, Sokolniki MEC representatives, worked at the Forum as well. They discussed the possible ways for the development of the Russian economy and the present state and prospects for the evolution of the exhibition industry. Sokolniki MEC’s new project, the International Exhibition of Calligraphy, was presented within the framework of the Forum’s informal program and received wide approval of the participants.
