Second Graduation from the National School of Calligraphy

Last week the second intake of students had their last classes at the National School of Calligraphy at the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy.

During the two and a half months spent in painstaking jotting down lines, circles, strokes, and letters, students have not simply learned some calligraphy techniques, but have also been deeply imbued with the art. Many have decided to continue their studies to become professional calligraphers in a few years.

At the last classes all students were solemnly presented with certificates proving training in calligraphy. And then everyone took the floor to say a few words about what the school and calligraphy meant for him — so warm and sincere were the words spoken for the first time since the school’s first graduation had been celebrated in the museum.

In our turn, we hasten to share the good news: in September we open child groups at the National School of Calligraphy. Everyone of 8 years old and older is welcome. We have already started enrolment into child and adult groups, so do not forget to apply because the group number is limited.
