Between June 3 and July 21 the Open Workshops in Ligovskaya Library (Saint-Petersburg, Ligovsky Avenue 99) will hold an exhibition of Japanese calligraphy by Elena Skripko dubbed Satori.
Calligraphy is traditionally seen as a visual art only, however the path of the brush or shodo serves for a creative person as a tool to explore self, your horizons, vision and power. Satori is the very moment when everything comes harmonized and balanced – first in the inner world of the author to follow on a sheet of rice paper.
The event is curated by Anastasia Melnikova.
