On February 28, 2019, Alexey Kharyutkin, Deputy Director of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy, held a business meeting with a representative of the leading state exhibition company in China, CMEC International Exhibition Co., Ltd.
During the negotiations with Deputy Director, Ms. Amy Zhao, Kharyutkin gave a detailed account of Sokolniki exhibition centre and the projects it implements, particularly speaking about the cultural event designed to unite our two countries – The Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting exhibition, which aims to celebrate the 70th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relationships between Russia and China. The event is scheduled for September 20-22, 2019.
Kharyutkin also spoke in details about the forthcoming Russian and Chinese conference named Development of Export Opportunities for China through Exhibition Industry, which will run on September 19-20, 2019. The parties discussed various aspects of cooperation, including organization of Chinese events in Moscow, the industrial exhibition RUSSIA-CHINA-MONGOLIA in September 2020 in Sokolniki and many other potential forms of cooperation.
