Renowned Chinese calligrapher Xie Jianghua met with Director of Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy in his workshop

On April 5 renowned Chinese calligrapher Xie Jianghua met with Alexey Shaburov, Director of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy, in his workshop in Shantou, Guangdong province. At the meeting the artist spoke about his creative path demonstrating books and catalogues, and about Chinese and international exhibitions he took part in, while also shared some thoughts in regard to the development of calligraphy art in China. From his side Alexey Shaburov gave an overview of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy and the Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting exhibition, scheduled for September 20-22, 2019, in Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre. The event is designed to celebrate the 70th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relationships between China and Russia. Mr. Xie Jianghua expressed his interest to the project and wished the team the best of success.
