The Museum of Russian Gusli and Chinese Guqin invites everyone to take part in the creative meeting "Psalm Music: Gusli in the World Christian Culture". The old Russian spiritual music ensemble Sirin Choir Choirmaster Andrey Kotov and the Co-owner of the Museum of Russian Gusli and Chinese Guqin Dmitry Paramonov will provide an introduction to the world Gusli traditions and the Russian culture of playing spiritual music in everyday life.
The meeting will take place on March 7, 6:00 PM. The program includes a lecture and a demonstration of expedition records of Gusli music and related instruments of different cultures , folk spiritual songs: starina and ballad songs, fasting and funeral songs accompanied by old Russian and Medieval Gusli.
The Gusli Art Workshop Ensemble will perform folk music of different cultures.
