On December 21, 2018, Alexey Shaburov, Chairman of the Union of Calligraphers of Russia, Director of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy and President of Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre, Olga Shaburova, Deputy Director of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy, the Museum Consultant, and Assistant President of Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre, took a trip to Beijing to take part in the negotiations about the Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting exhibition, as well as to exchange opinions in regards to selecting calligraphy and painting works to be put on display.
Yuan Pu, Professor of Beijing Institute of Graphic Communications, Jing Pengju, Professor of Design and Art in Beijing Institute of Graphic Communications, Zhang Bin, Principal of Design and Art Department in Beijing Institute of Graphic Communications, Mao Guangsong, Professor in the Training Centre of the Chinese Association of Calligraphers and expert in cuan calligraphy, Ma Hanzeng, Head of External Communications, International Education Department in Beijing Institute of Graphic Communications, Zhang Wenchang, Executive Vice President of Kaiming Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Pingshan District, Shenzhen, and Head of the Chinese Painting editors office, and some other calligraphers met with Mr. Shaburov in the Centre of International Exchange, International Education Department in Beijing Institute of Graphic Communications.
