The overseas students of the international calligraphy class from Renmin University of China visited Longmen Grottoes in Henan’s city of Luoyang on July 26th.

The visiting group completed a long scroll of calligraphy creation in front of the Vairocana Buddha at the Fengxian Temple.

Longmen Grottoes, the treasure house of ancient Buddhist cave art has attracted many visitors from across the world because of its beautiful landscape and the profound cultural deposits.

Visiting students said that the brilliance of traditional Chinese culture shown in Longmen is helpful for them to grasp the essence of traditional calligraphy.
