On November 1st the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy will host the grand opening ceremony of the largest project in the world dedicated to the art of beautiful handwriting – the International Exhibition of Calligraphy. 43 countries take part in the project. The opening ceremony will be a closed event for officials and media.

Among the exhibits of the International Exhibition of Calligraphy are masterpieces of written works from the whole world, including those listed in the Guinness World Records book. Calligraphic paintings, items of applied calligraphy, writing utensils and materials, unique exhibits like the hand-written copy of Constitution of the Russian Federation, the Decalogue, the Holy Mantra, the world-famous mezuzah, Calligraphy On a Wing Of a Fly miniature and many others. Among familiar exhibits the event will also feature brand new works by calligraphers from Russia, Spain, Germany, France, Great Britain, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Japan, China, Qatar and other countries.
