Museum team met with Professor Kou Xuechen

On January 20, 2019, as a part of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy team’s business trip across the People's Republic of China, Alexey Shaburov, Director of the Museum and organizer of the Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting exhibition, met with Kou Xuechen, leading Hebei calligrapher, a member of Sharp-pointed Nib calligraphy association and Professor of Hebei Teaching University. Mr. Shaburov spoke in details about the Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting exhibition project designed to celebrate the 70th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relationships between China and Russia, and invited the honoured calligrapher to join this unique project. Mr. Xuechen was happy to accept the invitation and held a brief calligraphy workshop for the guests from Moscow, donating one of his calligraphy works to them in the end.
