Museum Representatives Attend Contest Awards Ceremony at China Cultural Center

On September 26, 2018, an awards ceremony was held at Moscow’s China Cultural Center for the “China and I” essay contest and a children's drawing contest titled, “China Through the Eyes of Russian Children”, organized with the help of the Chinese Embassy in Russia.

Awards were presented to winners by Li Hui, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Russia, Lyubov Dukhanina, Member of the State Duma, Deputy Chair of the State Duma Committee on Education and Science, and others.

Among the honored guests who attended the event were representatives of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy led by the director of the museum, Alexey Shaburov.

The grand ceremony featured dance, acrobatic, musical, and stage performances prepared by professional Chinese artists from the city of Chengdu, Sichuan province, thus marking the beginning of the week-long China Intangible Cultural Heritage Week“Celebrating China”.
