A group of representatives from the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy and Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Center undertook another trip to Beijing, which lasted from September 9 to 15. This time they visited the cities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and Foshan.
The highlight was the meeting with the Chinese business community as well non-governmental organizations and institutions of the city of Foshan, which took place on September 10.

Alexey Shaburov acquainted the other party with the idea behind and his plans for the upcoming expo “The Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting: One Belt — One Road”. He also talked about his recent communication and meetings with Chinese calligraphers at central and regional level, including his visits to Shangzhi’s Chinese Calligraphy on Stone Museum and the Zhang Hai Museum of Calligraphy in the city of Yanshi, Henan province, and his meetings in Beijing and Shanghai.
Alexey Shaburov also spoke about Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Center and the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy, answered many questions of our Chinese friends, received valuable advice and suggestions from the city authorities as well as cultural workers and artists of the city of Foshan.
The guests from Moscow were taken on a tour of an art display of the Foshan People's Political Consultative Conference. Mr. Yang Xiaoguang presented Alexey Shaburov with an honor gift — his own calligraphy work saying “Hard work is always rewarded by the sky”.
