Mirzoev Shirinbeg Gabibullakhovich

We welcome a new member of the Union of Calligraphers - Mirzoev Shirinbeg Gabibullakhovich.

He was born on April 19, 1981 in the village of Akhty, Akhtyrsky region, Republic of Dagestan. After graduating school he entered the higher Islamic school in Derbent.

After graduating in Derbent he studied under Ali Khosrevoglu, a great calligrapher in Istanbul.

At present time he teaches in his village, he is the director of madrasa, deputy imam and calligrapher.

He writes mainly on goatskin parchment which he makes himself.
