Dear friends!

On behalf of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy team I want to wish you Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! This year had shown that the interest to the art of beautiful handwriting continues to grow rapidly. More and more people come to visit classes hosted by leading Russian teachers at the National School of Calligraphy which exists on the basis of our museum, more and more excursions are hosted by our staff for Russian and foreign guests.

In 2012 the largest project in the world, dedicated to the art of beautiful handwriting, comes back to “Sokolniki”. The International Exhibition of Calligraphy will gather best showpieces from around the globe in the museum again. You will encounter many pleasant surprises.
