Management of Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy met with artist Gu Daming in Beijing

On December 7, Alexey Kharyutkin, the Deputy Director of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy, met with a renowned Chinese artist Gu Daming in Beijing. While Kharyutkin shared the outcomes of the “Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting,” which took place between September 20 and 22 and served to celebrate the 70th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties between Russia and China, both parties also discussed further Gu Daming’s cooperation with the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy. The artist donated one of his artworks, “The People Who Live in the Mountains,” to the museum. Grateful for the gift, Alexey Kharyutkin wished creative successes to the artist, who in his turn agreed to advice the museum in the process of selecting the most outstanding artists for future projects.
