Calligraphy is applied in building and interior decoration, decoration of mosques, signage, books, currency, old manuscripts, etc.
Despite his young age, the thirty-five-year-old Abdul Baki has extensively participated in a quantity of exhibitions in Iran, Turkey, and some other Muslim countries. He won the grand-prix of the national contest of Thuluth, which is the most ancient calligraphy style in Malaysia. Besides, he is the Head of Restu Centre for Calligraphy & Jawi.
