Leading Chinese calligraphers from Foshan exhibit at State Duma

The Great Russian and Chinese Calligraphy exhibition, which is underway between May 28 and 31, 2019, features the artworks by leading calligraphers from Foshan – they are a quote from the collection of stories “The Garden of Expressions” by member of Presidium of Guangdong Association of Calligraphers Wang Zhimin, and an artwork named “The Sky and The Sea” by renowned He Zhibin.

The above works, a true gem of the exhibition, were selected among many others to represent the traditional Chinese art in the Russian Parliament.

It’s noteworthy that the Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting exhibition is scheduled between September 20 and 22 in Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre to celebrate the 70th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relationship between Russia and China. This event will feature a dedicated exhibit of top calligraphers and artists from Foshan and Guangdong province.
